2 Collective Reviews…sorry this is late!

Well, My computer has been on the fritz for the last month, or so….which is why I haven’t been able to do much except mobile blogging that doesn’t leave much room to type out reviews.

My first review is of the first dispensary I visited.

Green Tree Solutions

8055 Clairemont Mesa BLVD #107 in San Diego

I’d say the only complaint I have about them is that they are cash only.  It’s not posted anywhere, that I remember seeing, and when I got ready to hand over my card, I was embarrassed to find out they didn’t take it.  I turned around and there was an ATM but there was a $5 fee to use it…$3 for the machine and another $2 from my bank for using a “Non-Chase ATM” (I fucking HATE Chase, by the way…)

Anyway, I picked up a gram of WeezyOG, a gram of SnowCap, and a gram of Kushberry hash. 

The WeezyOG (sorry, no description) is a really good Indica strain that really helps you settle down (if you have trouble sleeping or have any anxiety issues).  Not too harsh and has a nice aftertaste.  Got this for $20.00 per gram for being a newbie (regular price is $35.00/g)

The SnowCap was my Sativa choice.  It gives a great cerebral high.  Took care of my knee pain for many hours and still allowed me to be able to function at work.

The Kushberry hash I picked up was really dark and sticky, it’s from a hybrid plant (mostly Indica).  It was also $20.00 per gram and had a nice, fruity, taste followed by a nice all over buzz that was evenly distributed through my head.

The staff was nice and they looked to have lots of strains…probably wouldn’t hurt to have more edible options. 

I’d say they would get 4 out of 5 stars.

The next shopping trip took place on 4/16/10 at Southern Lites.

This place was super nice with friendly staff as well.  The parking sucked…

They have their own website that allows you to pre-register, which is great.  The last thing I want to be doing before shopping is fill out pages and pages of legal term and condition stuff.

I picked up a 2 grams of Grandaddy Purple (GDP) , which was the best dispensary strain I’ve purchased, thus far. $20.00 per gram, all around.  I ended up with 2 g’s of this, fine, strain.

I picked up another 2 grams of Blueberry Hog’s Breath (which doesn’t SOUND appealing) and was a really nice fruity strain, nice taste at greens and even a nice aftertaste.

Last gram I purchased was RazX…sorry, couldn’t find a review on this one either.  Unfortunately, a gram of this isn’t much and it was gone before I could review it and I just forgot about it’s effects…4/20 amnesia, lol. 

This dispensary didn’t have a lot of strains to choose from but they gave me a free joint (as a newbie gift) that I was happy to share at a concert with a fellow card holder that needed to take the edge off.

Only had 2 edibles, so that was a bit of a bummer…but all in all, the nice guy waiting on me made the purchase a lot less….weird.

I give this one 4 out of 5 stars, as well.

All in all, I have had good shopping experiences, thus far.  And, if anyone in East county is reading this, If you need a great smoke shop with tons of stuff…go to Vishions on Broadway in El Cajon.  They rock.
